Bruschetta
This is my new daily craving.
Just a simple Bruschetta- Roma Style.
Italian bread
Garlic clove
olive oil
fresh mozzarella cheese
fresh basil
fresh roma tomatoe
Slice crusty Italian bread about 1 inch thick.
Cut one garlic clove in half.
Brush cut side of garlic on the sliced bread.
Toast just a few minutes until warm.
Slice mozzarella, basil and tomatoes.
When the bead is toasted top with one layer of tomatoe,
mozzarella, and chopped basil.
Drizzle with olive oil.
***I cheat a bit and sometimes rub the bread with butter and sprinkle garlic salt before toasting.
I also like it with fresh pepper on top.
